The term &#;Lost Generation&#; refers to the post-World War 1 generation, mainly emphasising the number of lost lives. Quoting Genius, this was a poem that &#;became viral upon winning second place in AARP’s U@50 video contest, wherein contestants were told to create a two-minute video describing their vision of the future&#;.

Even though it seems morbid and depressing at first, the reader is in for a genuine surprise at the end.
